Privacy Policy
This explains what HuntYourPath (huntyourpath.com), operated by PRTYSH.COM (“we”), collects, why, and who can see it. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- From LinkedIn sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture. We use LinkedIn only to sign you in; we do not read your connections, messages or posts.
- What you enter: applications and candidates you track (names, roles, stage dates, notes), posts you publish (role, location, seniority, industry, skills, expiry), connect requests with your optional message, and any decline note you write.
- Work-email verification: the work email you enter, its company domain, and the one-time code we send to it.
- Slack / Teams (optional): the webhook URL you paste, so we can post pipeline updates to your channel.
Who can see what
- “Open to work” posts are anonymous: others see the role and preferences, not your name.
- Hiring posts show your verified company. Referral offers show your first initial and verified company.
- Your email is shared with another user only after you approve their connect request (or they approve yours).
- Both people in a connect request can see its history (sent, approved, declined and any note) in their Inbox.
- Your tracker entries are private to you.
Cookies and local storage
We set one sign-in cookie (HTTP-only, kept for 30 days) so you stay signed in. Your browser also stores which mode (Candidate or Recruiter) you last used. Google Analytics (below) sets its own analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks on outbound links, scrolling, and approximate location, device and browser. We have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, and we do not send your name, email or anything you type into the app to Google Analytics. Page addresses may include which tab you are viewing (for example /app/discover?tab=jobs). You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with a browser extension.
Services that process your data
- LinkedIn — sign-in.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site and API.
- Google (Analytics and Search Console) — site usage statistics and search visibility.
- Turso — database storage.
- Resend — sending verification and notification emails.
- Slack or Microsoft Teams — only if you connect a webhook.
We do not sell your data.
Emails we send
We email you a code when you verify your work email. We also email your sign-in address when you receive a connect request or someone answers yours. These emails say only that something happened and link to your Inbox; they contain no contact details. You can turn them off in Settings.
Your choices
You can remove your own tracker entries and posts inside the app, and disconnect Slack/Teams in Settings. To access, correct or delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with.
