Short answers about how HuntYourPath works.
Do I need a LinkedIn account?
Yes. You sign in with LinkedIn, so there is no password to remember. We use it only to sign you in and never post to your profile.
Can I be a candidate and a recruiter?
Yes. It is one account with two modes, and you can switch between them any time.
Who can see my applications?
Only you. What you track, including notes and links, is private. Other people see only what you post in Discover, and only what you choose to share when you connect.
What does Verified mean?
A person confirmed a work email at their company. It appears as "Verified, works at" on their hiring posts. Verification is needed to post a hiring role, offer referrals or contact candidates.
Does HuntYourPath post to my LinkedIn?
No. We only read your name, email and profile picture to sign you in.
Can I import my candidates from Excel?
Yes, in Recruiter mode. On Track, choose Import, then upload an .xlsx or CSV file or paste the cells. You match your columns and your own status words to the stages, check a preview, and confirm. You can undo the whole import straight afterwards. The tracked-item limit of your plan applies.
Can I use my own stages instead of Applied, Screening, Interview and Offer?
Yes. In Settings, open Paths and build your own stage list with 2 to 8 stages.
Can I get reminders?
Yes, if you want them. In Settings you can choose a daily or weekly reminder email. It is off by default. You can also add any interview to your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
Can recruiters get Slack alerts?
Yes. Connect a Slack channel in Settings to get a message when a candidate changes stage, plus a daily pipeline summary.
How do I download or delete my data?
In Settings, open Account. You can download everything you have added, or delete your account.
